My Story

Left brain built my career. Right brain never let go.

For two decades, I managed finance - and eventually operations - for domestic and global organizations doing work that mattered: expanding access to care for HIV/AIDS patients, human rights programs, children with disabilities and arts and culture. Along the way, I helped open the Bronx's first children's museum as its first Deputy Director. All these years, I was quietly yearning to be a visual artist.

By 2024, leading finance and operations at ArtsWestchester, my career and creative pursuits finally seemed to meet, but full-time work and family life left little room to create.

That tension led me to consulting: bringing two decades of nonprofit finance and operations expertise directly to leaders who need it, while reclaiming space for my art.

If you're navigating grants management, building financial systems, or getting your organization's operations under control - that's exactly where my left brain and right brain come in.

Facts that shape how I work

  • Overseeing all aspects of operations and finance, I played a critical role in opening the Bronx's first children's museum, righting a real gap in access to arts and culture for a community that deserved it sooner.

  • I've trained global staff across multiple sectors. From Viet-Nâm to Kenya, I've gone into the field to build financial systems, budgets, cost controls, and grants management processes that actually stick.

  • I'm a working artist. Mixed media is my playground, and it keeps me thinking creatively even when I'm deep in a budget.

  • I'm Vietnamese, French, American - and fluent in three languages. Born and raised in France of Vietnamese parents, I've spent my life moving between cultures, which makes me quick to connect across backgrounds and teams.

  • My education bridges business and public service: I hold a BA in Economics and Business Administration from Concordia University (Montreal), and an Executive MPA from Columbia University's School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA).

  • My proudest accomplishments: two kids (one dancer, one budding food critic) and a rescue shepherd mix who takes his guard job way too seriously!
